Gunnebo Unveils Next-Generation SafeStore Auto with Flexible Configurations and Advanced Monitoring

Gunnebo Safe Storage has introduced the latest evolution of its SafeStore Auto system, enhancing its automated safe deposit locker platform with features that prioritize flexibility, sustainability, and real-time oversight.

With SafeStore Auto, we’re building on a legacy and setting the standard for the future of secure storage,” said Emmanuel Harir-Forouch, Global Business Development Director of Gunnebo Safe Storage. “This solution is the result of careful listening—to our customers, our partners, and the shifting demands of smart safe storage.”

At the heart of the upgrade is a dynamic box configuration for the SSA Maxi model, enabling operators to adjust both the number and arrangement of deposit boxes based on demand. This adaptability improves space efficiency while reducing installation time and material use, cutting steel consumption by up to 20%.

Additional innovations include a high-precision scale system integrated with SafeControl Manager software, allowing institutions to introduce weight-based charging models for valuables, and a new Supervision Sensor system that enhances security by monitoring safe deposit areas for irregular activity and triggering automatic responses when necessary.

With these advancements, Gunnebo reinforces its leadership in secure storage solutions, offering operators greater adaptability, smarter monitoring, and a more sustainable approach to automated locker systems.
