SFFECO has announced that its firefighting vehicle range has been officially registered under Saudi Arabia’s Saudi Made programme, reinforcing the company’s focus on local manufacturing and the development of domestic fire-protection capabilities.
The Saudi manufacturer said the registration reflects its commitment to strengthening Saudi industrial capacity and producing firefighting vehicles locally for demanding emergency-response applications. SFFECO announced the development through its LinkedIn channel, describing the vehicles as being designed to deliver performance and reliability in emergency situations.
Local Manufacturing of Firefighting Vehicles
SFFECO, or Saudi Factory for Fire Equipment Co., has manufactured fire-protection equipment in Saudi Arabia since its establishment in 1983. The company is headquartered in Riyadh and operates manufacturing facilities producing a broad range of firefighting and fire-protection equipment.
Its portfolio extends beyond firefighting vehicles to include fire pumps, extinguishers, hydrants, fire doors, foam equipment, suppression systems, hose reels and other specialised fire-protection products. The company says its manufacturing operations are supported by international certifications and approvals.
The vehicle portfolio is aimed at applications where rapid deployment, firefighting capacity and mobility are critical. SFFECO’s range includes rapid intervention vehicles, industrial fire trucks, foam units and water tanker fire trucks designed for different emergency-response requirements.
One example is the SFFECO HAWK 2, a firefighting truck built on a commercial vehicle chassis and equipped with dedicated water, foam and pumping systems. One HAWK 2 configuration features a 4,000-litre water tank, a 500-litre foam tank and dedicated firefighting pump equipment.

SFFECO’s existing vehicle specifications demonstrate the engineering requirements involved. Its HAWK Series 2, for example, is offered on IVECO or Isuzu chassis, with water capacities ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 litres and foam capacities of 300 to 500 litres. The company also specifies pump performance across different pressure and flow conditions.
