Gallagher Security has named industry veteran Matt Butts as its new Executive Vice President of the Americas, effective September 15. In this role, he will lead operations across North, Central, and South America, driving regional strategy as the company strengthens its footprint in these markets.
“I see Gallagher as a company with the capability and solutions to play a much bigger role across the Americas,” said Butts. “The momentum already created in this region is inspiring, and I can’t wait to get started.”
With more than 25 years of leadership experience in the security and software sectors, Butts has held senior roles at Johnson Controls, Tyco Integrated Security, ADT, and, most recently, Transact Campus, where he served as Senior Director of Global Security Sales.
Gallagher Chief Executive Mark Junge highlighted Butts’ “passion for innovation and ability to inspire teams” as qualities that will make him a strong leader.
“I’m confident Matt will make this role his own in a way that furthers our global vision,” Junge said. “He brings dynamic energy and genuine passion to the role, and, most importantly, his core values align with our mission to protect what matters most.”
Butts emphasized that people are central to his leadership approach. “I believe that when people feel trusted, supported, and inspired, they achieve remarkable results,” he noted. “At Gallagher, I see an opportunity to harness that kind of energy to deliver real impact for our end customers and partners.”
