Rosenbauer Showcases
Rosenbauer recently welcomed over 300 customers, sales partners, and airport representatives from across the globe to the PANTHER electric Experience at Austria’s Salzburgring. The event marked the official debut of the PANTHER electric, Rosenbauer’s flagship all-electric airport firefighting vehicle.
Attendees had the unique opportunity to test the PANTHER electric on the renowned racing circuit, experiencing firsthand its unmatched performance, acceleration, and agility. Guided by Rosenbauer’s expert team, the dynamic driving sessions highlighted the vehicle’s ability to deliver powerful, zero-emission performance with no compromise on operational readiness.
Also featured was the Revolutionary Technology (RT) vehicle, another fully electric fire engine designed for urban deployment. Short demonstration drives showcased the RT’s impressive maneuverability, particularly its tight turning radius.

The PANTHER electric is not only environmentally friendly but also a performance leader. Fully electric, it accelerates from 0 to 80 km/h in under 25 seconds – and in Boost Mode, it reaches that speed in under 20 seconds thanks to a combined output of up to 880 kW (1,180 hp). Its top speed of 120 km/h is achieved entirely in electric mode.
Designed for full operational deployment, the vehicle meets and exceeds ICAO and FAA requirements. It supports complete emergency response cycles (travel, firefighting, and return) on a single charge. Its high-voltage battery system is supported by an energy backup module, ensuring uninterrupted performance of all firefighting systems. With a rapid charging capability of up to 300 kW, the PANTHER electric is quickly restored to operational readiness.
