Magirus reveals ambitious growth plan following mutares acquisition

Magirus has revealed an extensive transformation strategy to bolster international expansion and innovation. Acquired by Mutares SE & Co. KGaA earlier this year, Magirus aims to double its sales to EU€750 million by 2030 through strategic enhancements in production capacity and product innovation.

The transformation plan, comprising ten key initiatives, includes the establishment of new subsidiaries in Switzerland, Spain, Poland, and the UAE, alongside the introduction of the Magirus Defense division.

Notable among the developments is the appointment of Fatmir Veselaj as CEO effective July 1, 2025, succeeding Thomas Hilse, who will transition to the Supervisory Board.

With a strong emphasis on sustainability and efficiency, Magirus plans to achieve net-zero emissions from its production by 2030, leveraging energy-efficient technologies and sustainable practices.
