REDA Secures Investment from Saudi-Led Consortium

Saudi Arabia’s fire protection, safety and security sector has received a fresh investment boost following the acquisition of REDA Gulf Holding, the parent company of REDA Hazard Control, by a consortium led by Saudi investors AlTouq Group and Thara Future Investments.

Bahrain-based investment firm Investcorp has also joined the consortium, acquiring a significant minority stake through its Saudi Pre-IPO Growth Fund. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Founded in 1986, REDA provides, manufactures, installs and maintains fire protection, safety and security systems for industrial and commercial customers. The company operates in 19 countries and employs more than 1,700 engineers and technicians.

The new investment is expected to support REDA’s next phase of growth, with priorities including expanding its market presence, strengthening manufacturing and engineering capabilities, increasing local production and pursuing international expansion opportunities.

The investment also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions to strengthen domestic industrial capabilities, encourage private-sector investment and accelerate economic diversification.

REDA CEO Mohamad Ezzat Beck said the investment marks an important new chapter for the business and demonstrates the confidence of its new shareholders in the company’s capabilities and future prospects.

He added that REDA would continue to focus on strengthening its market position, expanding its manufacturing and engineering operations, maintaining high safety standards and investing in its workforce.

The transaction reflects growing investor interest in companies supporting Saudi Arabia’s industrial and infrastructure development. Fire protection and life safety solutions remain critical across key industries, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, manufacturing and construction.

For Investcorp, the acquisition represents the fifth investment made through its Saudi Pre-IPO Growth Fund. Previous investments include Metra, NourNet, TruKKer and Salla.

REDA confirmed that its existing management team and workforce would remain in place, with business operations continuing as normal following the ownership change.
