SandboxAQ has joined the United Nations International Computing Centre’s AI hub.

SandboxAQ has become a founding member of the United Nations International Computing Centre’s (UNICC) new AI Hub, which aims to serve as the primary provider of AI solutions for over 100 UN entities and international organizations.

The UNICC will leverage SandboxAQ’s AQtive Guard unified encryption management platform to offer AI-enhanced cryptographic discovery services. This technology will help identify vulnerabilities in cryptography across member organizations’ IT infrastructures, enabling them to upgrade their systems to defend against emerging threats, including AI and quantum-based attacks.

Sameer Chauhan, Director of UNICC, stated, “Over the last five decades, UNICC has continually expanded its diverse technology services for the UN family, including fostering strategic partnerships with trusted partners like SandboxAQ. We’re pleased to welcome them as a founding member of the UNICC AI Hub and share their expertise.”

The AI Hub will serve as a center of excellence for AI within the UN system, bringing together experts and solutions to accelerate positive global impact. It will offer training on a range of AI solutions tailored to the UN, ensuring data integrity, ethical compliance, and measurable results. SandboxAQ will also collaborate with UNICC to develop additional AI solutions powered by Large Quantitative Models (LQMs), addressing key areas like clean water and affordable clean energy in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.

Stefan Leichenauer, VP of Engineering at SandboxAQ, remarked, “As AI continues to transform all aspects of our daily lives, we applaud the UNICC’s bold step to create a one-stop shop for AI expertise. We’re incredibly proud to be a founding member of the UNICC’s AI Hub and look forward to tackling some of society’s biggest challenges.”
