NAFECO Expands Gulf Coast Operations with Acquisition of Bonaventure Fire and Safety

NAFECO has officially completed the acquisition of Bonaventure Fire and Safety, strengthening its presence across the Gulf Coast fire apparatus market and expanding support services for emergency response departments in Louisiana and Mississippi.

The acquisition follows an asset purchase agreement involving Bonaventure Fire and Safety, a Rayne, Louisiana-based provider of fire apparatus and emergency equipment solutions. As part of the transaction, NAFECO has also secured a new territory assignment from Rosenbauer covering the entire state of Louisiana and the southern half of Mississippi.

The agreement gives fire departments across these regions direct access to Rosenbauer fire apparatus, supported by NAFECO’s expanding sales, maintenance, and service network.

According to NAFECO, the acquisition forms part of its broader strategy to strengthen fire and emergency apparatus services throughout the Gulf Coast region while improving localised customer support capabilities.

Brandon Oaks, CEO and President of NAFECO, said the move reinforces the company’s commitment to supporting emergency responders with high-quality equipment and dependable service.

“At NAFECO, our mission has always been to support those who protect our communities with the best equipment and service available,” said Oaks. “Acquiring the Rayne, Louisiana facility and bringing the talented Bonaventure sales and service team into our family allows us to provide an unmatched level of local support. We are honored to expand our partnership with Rosenbauer and look forward to serving the departments of Louisiana and Mississippi with excellence.”

Bonaventure Fire and Safety Owner and President Nolan LeBlanc also welcomed the acquisition, saying the partnership would strengthen support systems for first responders throughout the Gulf Coast.

“I am incredibly proud of what we’ve built at Bonaventure, and I know that NAFECO is the right partner to carry that legacy forward,” said LeBlanc. “Their commitment to excellence ensures that our customers and our team — including Willie, Donnie, and our service staff — are in the best possible position to continue serving fire departments. This move strengthens the support system for first responders across the Gulf Coast.”

NAFECO said the Rayne facility will now operate as its primary regional service centre for existing and future customers throughout Louisiana, South Mississippi, and Eastern Texas.

The company believes the expanded regional footprint will improve response times, strengthen technical support capabilities, and enhance aftersales service for fire departments operating across the Gulf Coast market.

The acquisition also reflects continued consolidation and growth within the global fire apparatus and emergency services industry, as suppliers seek to strengthen regional networks and improve direct customer support capabilities.
