Ranger Fire and Security expands into the South East with Fidelity acquisition

Ranger Fire and Security has expanded its presence into the South East with the acquisition of London-based Fidelity Integrated Systems, announced on Wednesday, 15 April 2026. The move marks the company’s first entry into the region, with Fidelity set to operate as Ranger’s central business hub in the South East.

Based in Orpington, Fidelity Integrated Systems delivers a comprehensive range of fire and security services, including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms and gate automation. Its fire safety offering covers detection, suppression and compliance solutions designed to minimise risk and protect property. With more than 20 years of experience, the company serves a diverse client base across London and the home counties, including listed buildings, schools, retail outlets and residential developments. Fidelity holds NACOSS Gold accreditation for both Security Systems and Fire Alarm Systems and is fully regulated by the NSI.

This acquisition is Ranger’s 18th since its establishment in early 2024 and its fifth in 2026, reflecting the company’s ongoing growth strategy.

Fidelity Managing Director Andy Atkinson will continue in his role alongside the existing senior management team. Ranger CEO Mark Bridges described the acquisition as a key strategic step, noting that the South East had previously been a gap in the company’s geographic footprint. He said the addition of Fidelity would enable Ranger to reach new customers, strengthen its regional presence and support further expansion through future acquisitions.

Andy Atkinson also highlighted the benefits of joining the group, stating that the partnership will support business growth and enhance service offerings while maintaining Fidelity’s commitment to high-quality customer service. He added that collaboration with other businesses within the Ranger group would create new opportunities to deliver specialised services across the South East.

The acquisition forms part of Ranger’s broader strategy to build a national fire and security platform across the UK and Ireland, bringing together strong local businesses while retaining their leadership and operational identity.
