Atos and GCH have launched a new Security Operations Centre (SOC) in Dubai, combining locally operated cybersecurity monitoring with AI-enabled threat detection, investigation and incident response.
The new facility is designed to support organisations that require security operations and data to remain within the UAE, while giving customers access to threat intelligence from Atos’ global security operations and research capabilities.

The partners said the facility will serve government organisations, critical infrastructure operators and enterprises seeking greater control over their security data and operations. The SOC is also intended to support alignment with UAE Information Assurance Standards and National Electronic Security Authority requirements.
AI-enabled threat detection and response
The SOC will use analytics, automation and AI-driven operations to support threat detection, investigation and response. According to Atos and GCH, these capabilities are intended to help reduce Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR), as cyber attackers increasingly use AI to automate and scale their activities.
The facility will also draw on intelligence from the Atos Global Threat Research Center. This will combine Atos’ broader visibility into global cyber threats with intelligence relevant to the UAE and the wider Middle East region.
Daniele Principato, Head of International Markets at Atos, said the model brings together “local control with global intelligence”, adding that the partnership is designed to help customers respond more quickly while protecting critical operations.
Surendrasinh Gohil, CEO of GCH, said the partnership combines Atos’ global cybersecurity expertise with GCH’s regional capabilities. The model, he said, enables organisations to access locally hosted security operations while strengthening threat detection and incident response.
Local operations, global threat intelligence
The SOC is designed to address both conventional and AI-driven cyber threats, combining AI-enabled detection, investigation and response with human security expertise.
Its connection to Atos’ global SOC network and threat research capabilities is intended to give customers in the UAE and wider region access to broader threat intelligence while retaining a locally operated security function.
The launch comes as cybersecurity priorities in the UAE increasingly focus on cyber resilience, critical infrastructure protection and the security implications of artificial intelligence.
GISEC Global 2026 in Dubai, for example, placed AI-enabled threats, national cyber resilience and critical infrastructure protection among the key themes of its programme.
The Atos-GCH SOC therefore reflects a broader shift towards security operations that combine local capabilities and data controls with AI-driven technologies and global threat intelligence.
