Bull Products showcases SITEPROTECT and SITENET systems at major education and construction events

Bull Products Showcases Advanced Fire Safety Solutions at Education and Construction Exhibitions

Bull Products recently highlighted its innovative fire safety solutions at two significant events: the Education Estates exhibition and The British Tunnelling Society Conference.

SITEPROTECT Lockdown Alarm System for Education

At the Education Estates event, Bull Products introduced the SITEPROTECT lockdown alarm system, specifically tailored for the education sector. This advanced system features a wireless mesh network capable of connecting up to 480 units, ensuring comprehensive coverage in schools and colleges.

SITEPROTECT includes remote devices that can be strategically placed in classrooms and other locations. Staff can activate the alarm using call points similar to traditional fire alarms. The control panel is designed to notify designated individuals and authorities, facilitating a swift response during emergencies.

Furthermore, the system offers advanced integration capabilities, such as mobile notifications and compatibility with a school’s public address system. SITEPROTECT can send alerts to as many as 50 users through its fire panel and Auto Dialler. Bull Products showcased this system at stand 709.

SITENET Fire Detection and Cloud Monitoring Platform

Visitors to stand 709 also learned about the SITENET fire detection and alarm system, another cutting-edge offering from Bull Products. Certified under EN 54 standards, SITENET is a 100% wireless solution built for maximum efficiency in various environments. Utilizing Cygnus wireless technology, it ensures reliability with a self-healing mesh network that can function in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Bull Products recently expanded the SITENET range to focus on internal applications, boasting a modern, streamlined design. A notable addition is Cygnus ALERT, a cloud-based monitoring platform that provides real-time updates on system status, including fault detection and mesh information. This feature enables rapid responses to emergency situations across multiple sites.

Bull Products at The British Tunnelling Society Conference

Bull Products also participated in The British Tunnelling Society Conference, held from October 8 to 9, 2024, where the company showcased its fire safety solutions tailored for the construction sector. Attendees experienced firsthand the capabilities of both the SITENET and SITEPROTECT systems.

Designed for construction environments, SITENET employs the same wireless mesh technology, providing reliable fire detection in challenging conditions, including high-rise buildings and underground projects. The SITEPROTECT system was particularly noted for its effectiveness in tough construction scenarios, such as those involving dense concrete, utilizing robust wireless mesh technology to connect up to 480 devices across 15 zones.

Cloud-Based Safety Management for Construction Sites

Cygnus ALERT, Bull Products’ cloud-based notification system for SITENET, was also highlighted at the conference. This platform aims to enhance site safety through real-time monitoring and fault detection, allowing construction professionals and site managers to manage multiple sites from a centralized interface for quicker, more informed emergency responses.

Carl Leeson, Head of Sales at Bull Products, commented on the event: “We’re pleased to have exhibited at The British Tunnelling Society Conference for the first time and to showcase how our cutting-edge fire safety solutions can transform safety practices in construction.”
