Czech Republic-based safety equipment manufacturer Eccotarp has announced that it will showcase its ET-Roller 7 electric fire hose winder at the upcoming INTERSCHUTZ exhibition next month, highlighting a solution designed to simplify and speed up fire hose handling operations.
While many emergency response teams and industrial operators still rely on manual hose winding methods, Eccotarp says the ET-Roller 7 offers a more efficient and less physically demanding alternative for winding various types of fire hoses. The electric-powered system is capable of handling hoses up to six inches in diameter, making it suitable for a wide range of firefighting and industrial applications.
The ET-Roller 7 is equipped with a Milwaukee battery-powered motor and features a telescopic handle for improved mobility and operator comfort. A stable four-wheel chassis enhances manoeuvrability, while the integrated Quick-Release mechanism allows users to rapidly exchange adapters for different hose types and sizes.
To increase operational flexibility, the system includes two removable carrier options — DRUM and 2 FORKS — enabling operators to adapt the machine according to the hose configuration being used. The unit also supports multiple winding methods, including smooth winding by the hose coupling as well as folded hose winding applications.
Eccotarp says the machine is designed to improve efficiency while reducing the physical strain often associated with manual hose management during emergency response and maintenance operations.
In addition to the ET-Roller 7, the company will also present its broader range of environmental protection and spill response products at the exhibition. These include magnetic leak patches, folding spill containment berms and tanks, as well as drain covers designed for hazardous spill management and industrial safety applications.
Visitors attending INTERSCHUTZ will be able to experience live demonstrations of the ET-Roller 7 at the Eccotarp stand located at Booth E13 in Hall 17.
