Johnson Controls acquires Powertec Pumps Ltd in fire suppression move

Leading fire equipment manufacturer Johnson Controls has announced its acquisition of Powertec Pumps Ltd, a provider of pump related services in England.

Experts in the maintenance and servicing of both on-site and off-site pumping operations, Powertec Pumps Ltd’s specialist workforce create pumps including; fire sprinkler pump systems, pump stations, clean water booster pump systems, process pump systems, rainwater harvesting, flood relief, and borehole pumps.

By acquiring Powertec Pumps Ltd, a company known for its speed of service and 24-hour call-out provision, Johnson Controls intends to better serve customers in the fire suppression sector.

Alongside anticipated increased service agility, Johnson Controls’ integration of Powertec Pumps Ltd is expected to provide customers with additional pump services. Having worked with the company previously, Johnson Controls is to integrate Powertec Pumps Ltd into its fire suppression and wider pumps operation.
