IWMA Board of Directors: Lee Haines elected to join

The members of the International Water Mist Association (IWMA) have elected Lee Haines (Fireworks Fire Protection Ltd.) to join the IWMA Board of Directors. The ballot was carried out via an online ballot, which ran between 11th and 25th March.

Lee Haines, who has accepted the vote, says: “I am honoured to get the opportunity to contribute further to the IWMA by sitting on the Board of Directors. I am committed to serving within the organisation to the best of my abilities and collaborating with corporate and private members supporting both high- and low-pressure water mist systems, over conventional technologies.”

According to the articles of the association, the IWMA Board of Directors consists of at least four and at most ten elected members. During the 2024 IWMA member meeting, Alex Palle (VID Firekill) vacated his seat after having served on the board for four years. Two weeks ago, Lee Haines officially applied for the vacant position.

Lee Haines, unlike the other members of the Board, is based in the UK. Fireworks Fire Protection Ltd. is listed as an installer of water mist systems on the IWMA webpage.
