FLIR to highlight thermal, visual, and radar technologies at Intersec 2025

FLIR will showcase its latest security and safety innovations at Intersec 2025, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from January 14-16. The company will present a range of solutions, including visual cameras, thermal imaging systems, and radar technologies, designed for continuous 24/7 monitoring and long-distance detection in demanding environments. Visitors can explore FLIR’s products for fire protection, perimeter security, and intrusion detection at Booth SA H11.

Among the highlights will be the Quasar Premium Bullet AI camera, which offers 5 MP or 4K Ultra HD video with integrated deep neural network (DNN) analytics. This technology enables precise detection and classification of humans and vehicles while supporting object geo-tracking through FLIR Nexus. Additionally, FLIR will display its thermal imaging systems, such as the FC-Series AI-R thermal radiometric camera, which can detect hot spots and fire risks in remote or harsh environments. The camera is capable of triggering an alarm in the Video Management System (VMS) upon detecting significant temperature shifts, allowing for a swift response. Other thermal solutions include the FH-Series R fixed camera, combining thermal and 4K visible imaging to identify risks in industrial or storage areas.

The FLIR Quasar Premium Mini Dome AI camera will also be featured, offering a compact 5 MP network camera with robust cybersecurity measures. With advanced AI analytics, it provides reliable monitoring in challenging environments. FLIR’s United VMS, compatible with pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) tracking, enhances cybersecurity and integrates seamlessly with third-party systems, providing a comprehensive surveillance solution. In addition, FLIR will showcase its Elara R-290 ground radar, which provides real-time mapping of humans (up to 200m) and vehicles (up to 400m). This radar system ensures accurate detection and tracking in all weather conditions, making it ideal for both short- and long-range applications in perimeter security and early warning systems.

At Intersec 2025, FLIR will present a broad range of security and safety technologies, including advanced visual, thermal, and radar solutions for 24/7 monitoring, intrusion detection, and fire safety in demanding environments. Key products on display include the Quasar Premium Bullet AI camera, the FC-Series AI-R thermal radiometric camera, and the Elara R-290 ground radar. The event will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from January 14-16, 2025.
